About me
My name is Keyith, and music has been a part of me for as long as I can remember.
I was raised in San Antonio, Texas, and grew up surrounded by three sisters. I never had a brother growing up, so in a lot of ways, music became my brother. It became my closest companion, my outlet, and eventually, my way of speaking when I didn’t always know how to put my feelings into words.
I started making music when I was 11 years old. What started as something I loved slowly became something much deeper. Music gave me a place to tell stories, process life, and express the parts of myself that were sometimes difficult to say out loud.
Growing up with an absent father shaped me in ways I’m still discovering. But I was blessed with a mother who would give the shirt off her back for her children. I also had an amazing stepdad. He wasn't a man of many words, but he showed his love through his actions. He worked, provided for us, supported our family, and took great care of my mom and us. In his own way, he taught me that sometimes love doesn't need a lot of words — sometimes it's simply being there.
Faith has also been a major part of my story. I had been in church since I was eight years old, so I always knew about the Lord. But in 2018, something changed. I encountered Jesus in a way that became personal to me. That experience changed the way I saw music, life, and myself.
My music became a place where faith, life experiences, and storytelling could come together. I found myself drawn to music that had meaning — music that could encourage someone, tell a story, or simply remind someone that they weren't alone.
Outside of music, I'm a dad, a husband, a basketball lover, and someone who genuinely loves helping people who are in need. My family means everything to me. I've been married for four years, and my wife has been one of the people who has helped me understand that life isn't about being perfect. It's about having purpose, believing in yourself, and continuing to become who you're called to be.
I'm still learning. I'm still growing. And I'm still figuring some things out.
But that's what makes my story real.
Music has been with me since I was 11 years old. It has been my brother, my voice, my escape, my testimony, and one of the ways I've been able to connect with people.
